More derailing by Slow. This coming from the guy that said you wouldn't care what the evidence was, if you were on a jury on Trump's trial you'd vote guilty no matter what. Patriot.

That you think I'm a racist, when time after time I've said I do not think any race is superior or better than any other is telling. You are a typical leftist, just scream racist and call it a day. Why have logic, evidence, or critical thinking when you can protect your bubble with lies you tell yourself?

It's because you are a racist, though.
No, I'm not. What have I said that makes you think that? Please tell me. Being against racism, like affirmative action, does not mean I have a problem with any other race of people. I'm probably one of the least xenophobic people you'd know, I enjoy other cultures and subscribe to the great melting pot ideology.
LoL.
You're basically a 50s era progressive: finally coming around to thinking that those German, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian immigrants could make fine citizens--that wonderful "melting pot." Those safe Europeans that didn't really bother the conservatives. Of course, your dad in the 50s never thought that way!
They look like you, after all. They don't challenge your core beliefs of religious insanity or white supremacy. They can more or less share the podium with you (though, I imagine you still have some stern questions for those papists!)
You continue to miss the mark by a wide margin. I simply don't care who comes to this country as long as they want to put the constitution first and be productive members of society. That is all I care about. What race, skin color, background, ethnicity, gender, LGBT / straight, which god one worships, etc. etc. etc. doesn't matter to me.
But when Trump banned people from specific countries based solely on their religion, and initially wanted to exempt people who weren't from that religion, you have no problem, right?
As I said in the other thread, I'm not privy to the intelligence and information Trump had access to to answer that question.
He called for a total ban on Muslims entering the US during his campaign. Intelligence and information had nothing to do with it.
You are fine with importing more anti-LGBT, anti-freedom religious fundamentalists? He never once said he'd ban American Muslims, but putting a stop to some demographics from immigrating, on a temporary basis if there is a problem with that group or that part of the world isn't racism.

You see, you say you're not racist, but you assume that most or all Middle Eastern Muslims hoping to emigrate to the US are hardline anti-LGBT, anti-freedom zealots. Ever consider that many of those trying to come to the US are moderates, or would just be content to keep to themselves?
Also, speaking of hypocrisy: it's still hilarious that you pretend to care about the LGBT community while enthusiastically supporting an administration that is exclusively anti-LGBT. You hate LGBT people. You want more discrimination. You want them to suffer as much as possible.
And again, let me be clear, I am 100% fine with those moderates coming here and I don't feel those are the people that should be banned from coming here. But, if we need to put in place a temporary ban of all from a particular country, including the moderates while we get our vetting process up to snuff, I don't see a problem. I do see a problem with allowing too many of the wrong people in because we're afraid to put a halt to things while we get situated.
I am not anti-LGBT in the least. I think Trump gets framed as such but isn't, that's the difference between us and our views on him in that regard.
I do see a problem with treating all Muslims as if they're violent extremists.
Also, how is Trump calling for a military transgender ban, removing protections for LGBT people and taking on a virulently anti-LGBT VP not anti-LGBT? I really want see the contortions of logic you use to lie to yourself about this.
I do too. But I don't have a problem with saying everyone from xyz country cannot immigrate to the US on a temporary basis if we have legit security concerns in regards to that nation / population.
I disagree with the Trump trans ban based on what I've seen. When it first happened I heard it was due to cost and other special needs of those soldiers. I can see why they'd put a stop to it on that basis, but the numbers I've seen don't support the ban. But, i wouldn't be surprised if there was good financial reason to it, but I'd have to see it layed out.
Trump was pro-LGBT before it was a popular thing to do for votes.

No one was calling him anti-LGBT until he became a Republican running for office, then suddenly he was. But his history before politics does not support such a label.

I thought it was insurance fraud? He can spend more time on his first love: Arson.

sorry, you may not have seen the last of Issa. Word is he may be window shopping for another district CA-50 that is more Republican since he knows his district CA-49 is trending hard away from the Republicans.
