Republicans will use Occams Razor

After the hair pulling and gnashing of teeth over the next few weeks I expect the Republicans to make few changes.

The "reason they lost the election" will come down for them to a version of Occams Razor. The simplest explanation is usually the right one(in simplified terms).

And that reason will basically be the same reasons they lost prior elections. Bad candidate, bad campaign, economic times, foreign situation, or a bad policy,etc.

Anyone who thinks the Republicans, a party that has built up and lived in a fantasy world for 20 years is suddenly going to snap out of it are going to be disappointed. The Republicans are not going to suddenly start saying we were wrong on minorities, on women, on gay marriage, etc. They are going to stick with the simplest and least complicated reasons they can for losing, and make the fewest possible changes they feel they need to make to be competitive again.

Tears and gloating, I think, are opposite sides of the same coin, feeling worthless and not knowing it** When your real self respect is destroyed, as it was for all of us in childhood by being put down and actually told we are worthless, the psyche has to do something to survive the pain that causes** We wouldn't have survived if we didn't repress it** So we build up an armor called the ego, a delusional self worth that ***es from ego identification with some external good, like the greatest nation, the only religion, the best race, the best team, etc** This is a state of ***petition and it is based on hate, a ferocious need to be the best because of the opposite feeling** So when we win we gloat and extract all the ego pleasure we can and when we lose we suffer from that ancient humiliation** It's all because we feel no real self love**

There is only one enemy in the world, only one evil, and it is self hate** Everything you see in the world that grabs our attention like this is a manifestation simply and only of that** The great paradox of the identity of opposites are resolved in this higher understanding**
