I agree that the forum 'can' be too busy at times but I dont think its busy 'enough' consistantly.
I also agree that separate forums would be good. Id hate it for someone to try and Multi-mod their P4 the AMD way. It would reduce confusion when a new person posts, gives them a stand if you like to preach their problems instead of walking in the door and shouting to a crowd from the floor.
However, splitting the OC forum into 2 separate places isnt good for a few reasons. Memory overclocking will be without a home, as well as power supply questions and dare i say it, AMD Vs Intel posts will be very biased towards 1 side if posted on 1 board.
And 1 last thing I wish to add that is directly linked to you Thugs. If you split the forum into Intel and AMD, where do posts like yours about Benchmarking programs go? I agree that your proposition has benefits but it also has a few drawbacks that need to be considered before action is taken.
Power supply Q's could be tagged onto Cases/Cooling, Memory in with Motherboards perhaps but as you know, Overclocking isnt 100% CPU dependant and people have a large selection of questions about a huge range of hardware to ask about now.
