It's really one of those "statement" movies.

Good movie if you don't want your kids to do drugs. I'm glad I saw it, never want to do fudged up stuff to myself after THAT!!! It really does represent views from a drugged up distorted point of view in my opinion. Good movie at the same time too.

That was the most miserable movie I have ever seen. After seeing it, I had nightmares for a week. I think I need therapy from the experience. My girlfriend loved it and forced me to watch it. She thought it had "good acting." I'm not going to tell her about this deal because she might buy it. I wanted to shoot my VCR halfway through the movie (it's much cheaper than the TV).

umm.. movies which make you depressed, miserable, and sleepless are GOOD. Whether or not you enjoy the experience may inform your decision to see them again or buy the DVD, but really has no role in any discussion of whether or not they "suck" - to put it eloquently. And if someone buys Requiem for the sake of seeing a certain actress in a state of undress (among other states) they're probably watching it for the wrong reason and will get little out of it.

I'd add, in addition to Happiness and Affliction, The Sweet Hereafter, The Ice Storm, and The Virgin Suicides. As films that the popcorn crowd will find disappointing.

I ordered on the 21st... got email saying it shipped on the 26th... got it on the 28th.
I ordered requiem, pi and Phantom Menace.
Best thing about their site, unlike someother DVD sites, they allow searches by almost any criterea.
Just hit the advanced search button, best of all you can search by price alone if your cheap, like me
lots of vids under $10 bucks.
