Rescue Me Season 4

So far the first 3 episodes of this season have been great. Last nights episode left me with my mouth open in shock and awe at the very end of it. I also felt very bad for the probie having to deal with what his mom was going through and what she asked of him.

FX definitely has my favorite shows thats for sure, and considering I only watch Hells Kitchen and Rescue Me in the summer, I look forward to Wednesday nights a lot.

How is everyone else feeling about this season thus far?

one of the best eps ever. Hilarious and shocking all in one. Didnt see the end comming at all until the ver last scene. jesus, i <3 rescue me.

I got hooked on a Saturday midnight when they were doing reruns and caught up just in time for the current season to start. I really enjoy it and have always been a big fan of Dennis Leary. The show is pretty interesting. I only wish there were more shows of this caliber on during the summer.

I have loved this show since the beginning. Last night's episode was great and a shocker of an ending. And I can't believe we have to wait 2 weeks until the next episode. ARGH

Oh and this season is really weird for me, cause I started with the 2nd and 3rd, then just before this season I watched season 1. So I'm a little discombobulated about where everyone is in their lives right now.

I wish they had this like the shield where they showed 2 eps a night in France and they leaked to torrents

at the very end when he was combing his hair and doin shit around the house. he looks in the mirror puts a gun in his mouth and the screen goes black then u here a pop.

I had the feeling of holy !(#@ and WTF at the same time. They keep killing off characters that I really enjoy. I'm pretty certain the Chief is dead and the episode guide for next week seems to confirm that fact.

Wow. I'm currently watching season 3 on my dvr. I should be caught up by this weekend. I've loved this show since the beginning.

I think they killed the chief because the show has balls. They are not afraid to have drastic things happen to the characters. Most shows find a formula that works and then they milk it for years and the show collapses onto itself. This show's formula is that there is no formula and I love it.

Ok I watched the episode. Why was Tommy afraid to lay into the guys at the "Man date"? He always seemed willing to step up to cops and fight. He had the probie there to even it out. Why didn't he fight?

Well, that dude was alot bigger than him..


Either that, or it has to do with the side-plot of the "Erectile dysfunction". They do seem to be spending some time on that plotline with the dialog in the firehouse, failed date with the beautiful woman, him noticing how old he looks & trying to fix it, etc. His "manhood" seems to be diminishing. Now is that all in his head or not ? we dont know yet. Im thinking it is, because the "failure to launch" story Sheila told him was bullshit.

I think it's more along the lines of his manhood that he is no insecure about. And then the worst part of it all was him taking the beating from his daughters boyfriend, and on top of that, his daughter didn't give 2 craps that he got beaten up.
