Reserved parking for pregnant women

saw a sign like this next to the handicapped sign at a mall parking lot, as as well as a grocery store.

Can I get a ticket for parking there? Are they gubment mandated signs, or are they put there by the store?

When my mother was pregnant with twins, she could hardly walk but she still had to go out occasionally. I'm sure it would have been great to have a parking spot like that for her.

On the flip side, assholes are the ones who make out on these signs because they are the ones who usually get the spots since there aren't many pregnant women.

I would guess that's more of a 'be considerate' sign than an actual enforceable rule. I have no problem with it.

A mall here in AZ has a 3 spot section with big arse colorful signs that convey the same idea. It was hilarious, I was in the game store in there and a woman on the phone was complaining to the person on the other end about how stupid it was as well. Get someone to drive you to the mall, and drop you at the curb if walking thru the parking lot, LET ALONE THE MALL(especially that one, as it is the largest single story mall in AZ, IIRC), is difficult.

Ok. Dude. Here's the thing: have you seen a pregnant woman try to walk? Especially one that is more than 5 months pregnant?

Watch how they walk: slowly, while sometimes putting on hand behind theiir back, on their spine, for support, and as if they were in pain.

Now, why the eff do they need exercise when the doc recommends moving around little bits only? These places are big enough as they are, and they don't need to move around a lot.
