Reset BIOS - Now computer is unstable

My board was running great at 335Mhz FSB with 1.45vCore for a few weeks, well I decided to try and get a little more out, so I increased it until it wouldn't boot up anymore. I reset the BIOS using the jumper, put in the exact settings I was using previously, and now it is VERY unstable! I even increased vCore to 1.5v and it is still unstable. I am quite certain that I entered the settings the same as before the reset.

The other oddity I notice is that on the POST screen, it reports the FSB incorrectly as 334mhz, when it is clearly set to 335 in the BIOS. It did not used to do this before.

Is it possible that something was damaged when I reset the BIOS? What should I do?

P.S. Memtest runs fine, so it's not the RAM.

Just a guess. I see it runs memtest fine (depending on the test, cpu is also tested. Plus I'm not sure how ram can be seen as functioning perfectly if the cpu is unstable). It may be that the instability is in your OS, could something have been corrupted when you had it OC'd too far?

Also, run another (free) bench app to make sure your FSB is where you think it is.

It didn't boot the OS when I went too far; didn't even post. However, I will run the Vista system files integrity check to verify. Thanks for your suggestion - it's a good one!
