"But I don't think I have enough information to defend my stance as well as it should be defended," he says, adding that he is taking the course "because I want to understand the US government, and I hope that it will help me clarify my stance".

Finally, all I said is that the victims were disproportionately black. Austin is 8% black, so saying that the victims were disproportionately black when they were 40% of the victims is basic math.
Possibly, but that's about 6 years ago, and he was quite young. IMO, no telling what his current attitude was.
So his mother "officially graduated" him from high school in 2013 but he was attending collage in 2012, a year before? Unless things have changed drastically since I went to college you can't take college courses unless you have already graduated high school.
His name is not uncommon. Care should be taken not to mix up different people. We've been down that road before.

While no one knows at this point what his motives were, I'm going to go way out on a limb here and opine that one of his driving forces was NOT making sure that his victims accurately represented the actual racial makeup of Austin's population.
