Hi guys-
Has anyone encountered this problem: the resolution reverts back to 800x600 after a restart? I just hooked up the new Apple 23" Aluminum Display (1920x1200 native) and an MSI GeForce 6800NU using the latest Nvidia 61.77 drivers with no problems with the exception my BIOS screen no longer displays. I set the resolution to its native 1920x1200.
I turn on my computer, black screen, and then finally I see the Windows XP splash screen but in 800x600, and then Window finally loads up but in 800x600. I change the resolution to 1920x1200 again.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Is it the Nvidia drivers at fault? I've used an ATI with the Apple Cinema display before with no problems in terms of saving the resolution.
Thanks in advance with any suggestions or input.
