For the most part, no. For games and video players (eg, Windows Media Player or VLC), there will be no scaling, but for video played within your browser (eg, Youtube) it may be scaled based on your reported browser size. You can disable scaling on your browser by right-clicking the shortcut and go to
Properties and enable the
Disable display scaling on high DPI settings option, though you'll have tiny fonts again (adjustable in browser settings). If you are using the Youtube HTML5 player you can right click the video and choose
Stats for nerds to see the video dimensions.
