I was talking to my grandmother this morning, and I guess he just found out last week that he'd have to stay in bed for another 2 months. He's had a nasty bout with pressure sores, and has been in bed for going on 4-5 months already. So he was very upset and unhappy about that.


Here is the last update if you will that I received:

"Just an update on George. As of 4am this morning, there's been no change. His heart stopped yesterday and his therapist kept giving him CPR until the ambulance came to take him to the hospital. George is in the Kona Hospital on a respirator and still unresponsive."

Just talked to my family there again. They took my Aunt home to get some fresh air and freshen up. This afternoon, around 3/4pm Hawaii time, they will me making him comfortable and letting him go.

Yes RD, he was very special to me, and everyone else in our family.

Something that really hurts, is that I was supposed to fly down last october to honolulu during my B-day. They said they'd fly over the same time so that we could all hang out and spend some time together and they wanted to do some visiting. Well, I had tried to use my FF miles to go, but it fell thru.
