I just feel bad that this poor guy is under so much pressure to look a certain way that he has to take such extremes. This is almost like an eating disorder for guys. Classically, women with eating disorders
diurese, exercise,
laxative, or
binge/purge themselves into some body type they(or society) think is "right". For guys, it seems like they goto extremes to bulk up and sometimes goto that n'th degree with steroids w/o even knowing the full risks/benefits and having almost zero understanding of all the possible interactions all of those drugs/chemicals can have once in your system(which is its own delicate balance of biochemical interactions).
All this because they think or theyve been taught to think that they should look a certain way...
Whats sad is that if he does have some kind of underlying
anxiety or body dysmorphic disorder then he'll likely go untreated for a very long time before going on people's radar as having a problem.
It's tragic, but I guess we all make our own choices in life.
GL to the OP and hope he makes the right decisions for himself.
