It's certainly not a hot deal, but just stopped at Best Buy and PSOv2 was $19.99, one of the lower prices for these I've seen. There was also a Performance accessory pack (controller, rumble pak, and memory) for $15.

I checked the W/NW suburbs and my side of Minneapolis; never checked Southdale. Doh! They might still be there. I'm done with fighting traffic searching metro area Targets for what's left, though, places are pretty much wiped out. I got my share. (60 games in that last month )

I finally got a job, so my days of deal pillaging and making obscene profits on eBay are over.

By the way, anyone ever tried using the Vikings in NFL 2K2? It's a joke:

1. They don't play anything like the 2002 Vikings.
2. You can pretty easily win 100-0 just by doing bombs to Moss and Carter.

I don't think TallGeese has updated that list on the first page in a while simply because finding stuff in-stock is getting harder (not impossible) and the prices are changing too frqeuently. Best thing we can do now is post when we find something new and give the details, hoping someone else can also get in on it.

Got my wireless controllers in from Buy.com yesterday...pretty Kool for $12.99. I ordered them on 12/6 but at this price I didn't mind the wait.

Couple of notes:

On the light gun calibration for the Confidential Mission - I find my gun calibrates fairly well if I stand up and walk closer to the TV during the corner calibrations.

I had posted several weeks ago that I found a light gun at BigCD.com for 11.99 shipped. Like most "too good to be true" deals.... I have received a fairly goofy letter where this guy goes on for several paragraphs explaining how he has lost his line of credit and can't ship... I have requested that my order be cancelled and my card credited (of course my card was charged immediately on order) plus I have filed a dispute with my credit card. Live and learn.. and learn... and learn... ... ... ...

Just got my wireless controller too. Good news: They're cooooooool. I can finally lay down on my couch and play games at the same time (I've achieved nirvana ). Bad news: They take 4 AAA batteries each. Oof! Better get some rechargables.

Could you please explain to me why you couldn't lay down on the couch before and play with the regular wired controller?

BTW.. I got mine yesterday and can't decide whether to keep them or Ebay them. They are almost worth too much to keep. Besides, I don't know if I'm too crazy about the placement of the analog stick. Anybody else have a problem with it? I can't tell for sure because I'm keeping them sealed for now until I decide what to do with them.

I have a 36" TV and my couch is about 15' from it

I DO like the placement of the stick. I have big hands, and for some reason the middle placement of the stick allows my to control it better (I never use the analog stick on the old DC controllers for this reason). I'm keepin' them

I noticed something strange about the Docs Wireless controllers, or at least mine. The response with the analong stick seems to be a little slow. For example, The in the menu for NBA2k2, the cursor seems to "jump" around, rather then move accurately. It's not a major problem, but can be annoying during those critical moments Does anybody else have this problem?

If you're looking for a VGA box go to Level Six, ebgames.com and every other US based online store I've tryed is out of stock. If you want to get cheaper shipping, choose USPS instead of UPS ground, about $4 difference.

Anybody know of a place that has the mouse (not an adapter) for less than $24?

Also, for anyone who thought about ordering those wireless game pads, I ordered them on March 1 and they shipped on the 8th from buy.com. Tracking # says I'll get them on the 15th.

and a question...

I WANT Space Channel 5 Part 2 but I still haven't heard anything about a US Dreamcast version. Should I keep waiting or get an import?
