Um, Sega's not dead... They just left the console making business. They now make games for X-Box, Game Cube, GBA, and PS2. They're going back to thier console roots in a way, back in the Atari dominated days they made games for Atari, Coleco, and Mattle game systems.

I liked Vanishing Point better than some of the more "famous" racing games. Graphics are great, and the stunt/tricks mode is a great distraction.

Take the time to get used to the controls...

While I'm at it, does anyone know what's the best way to get imports? My brother got a "backup" version of a decent soccer game (UEFA something or other) from a buddy, and I'd like to get a legit copy.

Just picked up soul calibur and vanishing point from ebgames.com. The 15% off used games (most often barely used)
still is in effect, so just take a quick look around and you can easily find it. I've been looking for Soul Calibur on the
FS/T forum here and had at least 2-3 deals fall through on it. For $20 new (~15 used w/ coupon), how can you pass
it up if you've been looking for the "best game ever" for dreamcast according to a lot of people?

the physics are both good and frustrating... tough out the selection at the beginning and you'll find it ranks with the best... i call it nfs for the dreamcast myself... still stuck on the supra level (do not have a lot of free time left nowadays).

Soul Caliber is definately one of the best DC games ever. I also consider Shenmue, Toyko Extreme Racer, Quake III, and MDK2 awesome games that showcase the reason the DC should never have been discontinued!

Dunno if this is hot, but here's Amazon's last brand-new Agetek Arcade Stick. These are hella hard-to-find, and considered one of the finest Dreamcast accessories ever--especially if you love those arcade fighters.

This is the HOTTEST DEAL ON THIS ENTIRE THREAD!
I paid $65 for a used Agetec on eBay. It did come with used copies of some fighting games (DoA2 and UFC), but $60 for a BRAND-NEW Agetec stick is FLAMING HOT!

Yep, the heat is DEFINITELY gone from this deal.
$29.95 would not be bad for a used AGETEC stick, but its important to know the condition of the stick, amount of use/abuse, etc.

Still, a GREAT stick. The gameplay of fighting games like Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive 2, ad infinitum is orders of magnitude BETTER with this controller.

This would be because someone already snagged the last new one I was referring to. The used one that's linked isn't even an Agetec stick.

Might be worth watching that link in case they do happen to get any more new ones. Just got my shipping confirmation.
