I bet AMD will lower their prices even lower since thats their whole thing over Intel. I am gonna wait to buy my 1.2 ghz . OR they may even come out early with a 1.4-1.5 ghz ..... who knows. It will be interesting to watch.

AMD is probably going to release their 1.3 Ghz athlon.... That should force the AMD prices and take the wind out of intel's sails... I'm going to hold out until the prices drop a bit more before I make a purchase (and it won't be AMD).

I have to agree with Fdisk, Intel silicon still doesn't impress me. If the P4 was priced the same as a 1.2Ghz Thunderbird, then I might consider it a good deal. Otherwise I won't be wasting my money on any Intel CPU's for the foreseeable future. Unless, of course, I happen to screw up and burn out one of my overclocked celerons! Then, I'd obviously need a replacement.
