First off... this is for retail members, so if you are not one of the eligible companies or you just have nothing to do with retail at all, then you should probably bounce on outta here. If I see anyone who makes some retarded comment about trying to cheat the system, I'll kindly report you to the mod and pass off your info off to logitech if possible.
All right, here is the deal. Every retail member can order anything made by logitech for 50% off the suggested retail cost. Now this cost is whatever logitech determines, not what everyone else is selling it for. For instance, I bought the logitech z-680s for 200 bucks (400/2), but compusa (where I work) was selling them for 350. 175 would have been nice, but 200 is still a damn good deal.
Now there are some rules. You can only buy one of each product in one yr. So you cannot get like 20 Z-680s and sell them on ebay. You can however get a Z-680, and 560, and 640, or whatever as long as its one purchase per model. You're not supposed to sell anything you buy from them at all, but what you do with your one purchase ain't my concern.
You have to provide some info as well. They need Name, SS# (jk), Store, store number, store phone number, your employee ID, your position, manager. And yes, they check all of this. I think they have some database on this or something (lol), I don't know. All I know is that they check it. At any rate, scammers please piss off.
Now here is the sales number to call: 1-800-231-7717... hit some options and get to the sales rep. Tell them you would like to participate in their retail employee purchase program. They should do all the necessary stuff with you. Note that shipping will be extra. Their warehouse is in Ohio. I am in Colorado and they added 15 for shipping for my speakers. Not too shabby IMO.
Now if you go to This Site, you can take a logitech quiz and enter some work info and you will have access to a PDF file that will show you their current "deals" on their merchandise!! Coo? Note, someone down here mentioned that you do not have to go to the site to order, and that is true you don't. I just offered the site for the PDF and other stuff.
On one last note, I would like to tell you folks out there that there is a Cordless MX Duo by logitech that gives the MX700 mouse and a wireless Elite keyboard for 50 bucks!!! Normally, 100. That is what I'll be getting next paycheck.
Well, enjoy the hot deal guys and gals. Its good to be in retail! Keep in mind that HP, MS, Epson, and a whole slew of other companies have training sites that have good deals as well, but be prepared to take a lot of quizzes! Peace!
Someone asked if there are other sites for training. Yes there is!!
Cyberscholar This is a great site for all kinds of retail training and winning goodies every month!!!
HP This site is not for the weakminded. Quizzes are hard and painful. But youre work will pay off. My bud from compusa got the HP 935 5.0MP camera after everything was said and done for 50 bucks.
Microsoft Here you can get discounts thru the PUP program or you can do training for pts to apply towards products!!
If I come up with more, I'll post here!! I will edit the title to reflect changes...
