OMG, US better get that same deal. I start my new job today at EBX and will try to find out more about this. The Japs always get better stuff (better GCN colors, cooler cell phones, etc.) than we do

I saw the same pricing on NBA Street as ktg at Target. Very cheap, under $10, this is a MAJOR steal.

I also saw Simpsons Road Rage for $14.98 or something close to that, not sure about the cents, at Target.

I think it depends on whether or not you're a big PC gamer. I own both a gamecube and a gaming PC and I find together they offer enough balance between all the genres. Really, the only exclusive games I want on PS2 are Grand Theft Auto III: Vice City which will eventually come out on PC and also Gran Turismo III: A-spec.

I love my computer for First-Person Shooters and RPGs (this is personal preference as I love open-ended RPGs as opposed to Final Fantasy-type stuff) and my Gamecube supplies me with all my social gaming as there really isn't another console out there that offers the same kind of multiplayer experience as the GC.

If by some chance you don't have access to PC games (computer won't run them, etc...), I would recommend a PS2 because they have the most varied game library. Despite everyone claiming an upcoming killer line-up, I personally am not intrigued by the X-box. Of course, there are those that will disagree and I'm sure they'll be willing to offer their opinions, especially if you ask in OT.

Just give your local Target a call! I was the one that posted it and it was confirmed at my store in Wilmington, DE, and at another store in New Jersey. $28.88 is a pretty good price for this game.
