I retired in 2000. I was never faced with a piss test, except at my annual physical. Worked for a major computer company, had security clearances to work on networks in multiple 3-letter federal law enforcement agencies. Then taught part-time at a college after retirement. One thing about being retired that pisses me off...for decades, I was subject to numerous piss tests every year. Pre-employment, post-accident test...if anyone on my barge or related work area had an accident, we ALL peed in a cup, DOT random test because I had a Class A license, DOT maritime testing...Coast Guard cutter pulled up along side, launch came to the barge...EVERYONE peed in a cup...
Now, I'm retired, live in a state where pot is legal and sold EVERYWHERE, and I can't stand the shit...can't stand the stench...can't stand the high.
Grandson's first job, at a grocery store... drug test
