Retrieving data from GPT HDD

First, I know close to nothing about HDD, partitions and whatnot. With that said...

I recently bought a small Seagate server. It has 2x2TB HDD, the other used to mirror.
About a week after setting it up I couldn't access it any more. Maybe had something to do with automatically changing IP, the point is, I needed to reset and backup my data fast.
I pulled out the HDD and connected it to my PC, but I couldn't access the data. It said it was a GPT protective partition and after some research I found that you couldn't access GPT with XP 32-bit.

I then plugged it in to a Win7 64-bit PC and I got like 10 disk drives from D-O, all of them require me to format before I can use which is unacceptable since I need the data.
The disks seems to be in RAW file format and ranging from 1MB to 950MB+.

So this is where I'm at now. I really need the data, and hopefully after retrieving it I can simply put the HDD back into the server and make it work again.

What brand/model server (NAS?) was it ?
Sounds like it was in perhaps a RAID mode.
Best advice would be to put the drives back how they were, and get the NAS(?) working again.

Don't use any other utility to try to recover, since you could wipe your data for good.
If that fails, you could try testdisk, HOWEVER, make sure you make a clone of the HD in question first, since, you could lose all data depending on a combination of things.

A lot of NAS (Network Attached Storage) boxes use Linux not Windows as their operating system. So the disk might be formatted in a Linux filesystem not NTFS or FAT. It's invisible to you as long as you access the disk through the NAS. It's only when you try to access this disk by attaching it directly to your computer that you find out that it uses a Linux filesystem.
It's rare that 2 TB disks and below are formatted GPT. GPT formatting is usually reserved for disks greater than 2 TB.
