Anyone use return address labels for mailing?

I used to always write them out and hated doing it. I got a free sheet of them a little while back and it makes it so convenient, i'm thinking about buying some. It's not like it's that difficult or time consuming writing it out to begin with though.

I found a site that you can get custom ones and 420 labels for like $5 or $6.

anyone use a company with a better deal than that?

vistaprint is the site i was thinking of ordering from. they have the cheapest price now, but i think they are having a sale now. you can get 420 labels for 5.99 and priority (7 days) shipping is 5.51. 2 packs of 420 drives shipping up to a little over $8.00

Amazon sells the avery blank labels for like $13 for 2000 labels. you'd have to use word or something and set them up and print them yourself.

I'm too lazy to print them myself... I haven't used my home printer in a while.

420 is too much, I was thinking about getting the roll of 140 for 1.99 + ~3.5 for shipping. It's funny how I don't give a fark if I pay $20 more for expensive electronics yet I'm so petty with this.

yeah, i was thinking about having to set them up (not hard or time consuming) and then print them. it would certainly be cheaper i guess, although i'd be using up my ink too, which isn't cheap, so i'm not sure how it would compare in the long run.

This is how I do it, however you don't have to copy/paste into each cell. If you are using Word, and using the Envelopes and Labels tool thingy, you choose your template (many are already preloaded), there is an area for you to write in what you want on the label, and click on "new document."

It should generate a new sheet with the info in each cell.

Send in a dollar to two or three charities and you'll receive enough return label stickers and other crap for the rest of your life. A couple bucks sure beats the cost of printing them yourself or mailing away.

I tried them once...but the dammed things just don't stick to my email...

Most of the time, I print envelopes for stuff, so my return address is also printed. The wife has/had some that she used when mailing bills...but nowadays, she pays MOST bills online. (the fucking electric company ONLY takes some Western Union payment... dickwads...instead of setting up a real on-line payment system...they're stuck in the 80's.

I get them from my alumni assocation almost every year, when they try to convince me to join and give the university more money. But I've used maybe 3 or 4 out of the 50 or so that are on the sheet.

It just occurred to me that I haven't mailed anything via snail-mail in 2009. All my bills are paid online, car regs, too.
