Hey guys. Some of you might remember me. It's been quite a long time since I've been here. I just got my account reactivated, thanks to help from Ray and the other mods.
I got busy with life, and went on to start a few teams in various DC projects over the years. I decided to make a comeback with TA though, so here I am
I've joined the few people actively working on Engima@home -- since this seems to be the most fun project I saw. TA needed some major help there too. We've gotten into the top 20 since I joined, and I've recruited a number of people to help the effort, including another OLD TA member, danzigrules So we're crunching away, and hopefully we can get into the top 10 (we nearly made top 5 for daily output) before this project is over.
If anyone else isn't sure where to put their cycles, I would recommend this project because: 1) it's a fun, neat concept 2) it will contribute to history, since the decoded message of the last transmission has NOT been made public knowledge 3) TA really needs help here.
Anyhow, great to be back. It looks like quite a few people are still around.
I'm going to list who i remember, off the top of my head. I probably remember more, so don't feel back if I couldn't pull your name out of the cobwebs.
danzigrules (you haven't changed much )
raysun2be (looks like you're still posting stats for everyone)
mechbgon (still riding your bike and staying clear of cars i hope)
virge (MIA?)
asslaminator1 (appears to still be crunching SETI - talk about dedication)
jonb (looks like you're still around)
lord_demios (MIA?)
bgod (MIA? probably still upset that i "telefagged" him so much in UT at the TA lanparty)
ok, so there's a lot of others that i will remember if i see them perhaps ill have to dig into the archives.
