I agree, I'm always a fan of Ferrari's 'mainstream' supercar - 360 Modena, F430, and now this 458.

After seeing the pics and reading the article, I'm glad they don't have a sound clip of the 4.5 litre V-8 because I'd need a change of pants.

That said, this morning on my ride into work I seen a Ferrari California on the express-way. Pininfarina shapes the sexiest inanimate objects known to man.

They did a nice job of keeping that under wraps, the test mules that have been photographed and rumored as a "450" didn't even have a hint of that level of redesign.

The only angle I'm not crazy about is the rear 3/4 view. The single taillights look a little odd (I'd rather they were paired up like the ones on the F430 or Enzo), and the rear flanks look VERY bulky. The triple tailpipes are a little strange too. Still, I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers . . .

The triple exhaust is reminiscent of the exhaust system on the F40, though in the F40?s case the centre exhaust was for the wastegate.

I think the front air dam needs to be a little more aggressive and there needs to be more air scoops on the sides/rear wings ? just my opinion.

Oh, and I prefer the single rear light clusters on each side as opposed to the design on the F430.
