I played a round of golf on my home course this morning (Tilden Park, in Berkeley, CA), teed off 5 minutes before dawn in the fog. It was so foggy I actually drove past the course (that I've played over 600 times), missed the entrance and had to turn around 1/2 mile later.
I walked with my new push cart.
I didn't seen a single other golfer out there for the entire round!!!!!
When I got off 18, there were a few guys around. I heard someone say they played the back 9, but I never saw one other person other than a couple maintenance guys. The course was pretty soggy. It was threatening rain, but there wasn't any. There were a fair number of worms on the greens, some turkeys and deer on the course. Yesterday, I sank over 100 feet of putts on the course, teed off even earlier. Made putts of 10, 11, 12, 16 and 35 feet! Tonight it will pour and I won't play there again for probably months.
