I let it buffer for 10 minutes before hitting play. It's just like Stage6 but no option to save. At least Stage6 rewards my patience.

Speaking of online video...

My Youtube channel seems to be growing even only doing a few videos here and there. The vlog format seems to really favour the algorithm. Went from under 100 subs to 131 in like 2 days. Skookum as frig.

I was at work going out to take my daily vape break (I'm charged $50/month regardless as a smoker's fee, fking right I'm gonna take a break then) and there was this girl in the elevator that had the most beautiful pooper I've seen in quite some time. She had tight jeans on that just accentuated... Mother of God.

I was coming down from the fourth floor and she got on at the second or third. I was on my phone and not paying attention and I hit the fourth floor button instead of the first and she giggled (though I'm not sure why I hit any button, I had hit the first when I got on. Maybe I'm not remembering it right). Does this mean she'll go out with me? I think I'm in boys!

Guess who's boy just got $5K more in scholarship $$ from the Rotary club, no less?

My wife's. Pretty sure she was stepping out on me.

That puts him at $29K for his 1st year. The Rotary isn't renewable, I don't think. The travesty is that I still have to come off of $10K, ATM.

Today, I found my Stihl torx wrench I thought I lost. I put in my little echo bag. It wasn't a huge deal, but I hate losing things. I had searched my cutting area in the backyard with a metal detector looking for it, and I'd think about it every so often and get irritated. Could have bought a box full of wrenches with the time I wasted looking for/thinking of it, but it's the point of the whole thing :^D

Fact. My life is organized by putting stuff back where it belongs. If I can't find it, "wife/kid" or beer. I'm the guy that will ask for directions in a heartbeat because effing around for 15 min, lost, is a stupid waste of time.

So I have a week of vacation coming up. After that week I was scheduled to work 2 day shifts, then be off, then start nights. Well we actually finally got a new hire, and they will be starting at that point. With the extra body, I was able to ask for two floaters and they actually got approved! So I'm basically going to have a 2 week vacation but only using 1 week of actual vacation time. I love shift work.

Had flight home from Phoenix to Dallas last night...

Original flight departed at 8:45PM local with 12:55AM arrival in Dallas...work meeting ended early so I got to airport at 5:30PM and got on the 7PM stand by with an 11:30pm arrival (gold status on American so I get free same day standby without paying $75 fee)...

Get to the TSA line and there is NO ONE in line for PreCheck or general boarding (at 5:30PM in Phoenix at Terminal 4 - still scratching my head on how that happened)

The standby flight has 12 empty seats. The standby list has over 30 people on it. I was #5 on the list when I got to the gate but ended up #8 when the plane started boarding so I got a seat (only downside was that I had seat 8A (window with more leg room) on original flight and now in 18B (cramped middle seat)).

The flight takes off AND land on time.

When I walk to baggage claim, my luggage is coming off the belt onto the carousel so zero wait.

I walk to the curb to catch a parking shuttle and the shuttle is there at the curb so zero wait again.

The parking shuttles usual stop multiple times (twice per terminal, usually goes to 2 terminals) before it returns to the lot. I was picked up at the last stop so I didn't have to wait for other stops to get back to my car.

I was the first person (there were 6 others in the shuttle) to be dropped off at their vehicle.

I wish all off my flights home went like this....

It's Friday and I only have about 3.5 moar hours of work left. Then I'll take a GLORIOUS nap because I love sleep almost more than anything and I only get like 4.5-5 hours a night of it (not enough). Then get up, get some food. Then... do laundry and relax and watch YouTube and maybe play a game. Then get ready for bed and get in bed and READ (probably my second favorite thing after sleep), the new book in Bradley's "Survivalist" series. Then sleep in until the afternoon tomorrow cause I'm a badass. Dang dawg talk about sweet.

Just saw a naturopath to get my ears cleaned (faster appointment than doctor) and I feel awesome. My right ear has been plugged up for a while, notice mostly at night if I tried to sleep on that side, and could hear a loud pitch sound. I was trying to deal with it myself but no go, so decided to get it done. Left ear was not bad, it was mostly the right. Crazy the stuff that came out of there, I could start a candle factory.

My girl cat seems to be doing pretty well. She was diagnosed with chronic renal failure a bit more than a year ago, and I've been giving her pills twice a day since. A week or so after my boy died, I woke up several times during the night hearing her puking, and she quit eating the next day; same as the boy. I thought "Fuck! Could it get any worse?!"

I gave her some leftover appetite stimulant I had from the boy, and started the pet tinic once a day. I gave that to her for a long time, but she had been eating well, and she didn't like it, so I slacked off. After a couple days of not eating, and one day of the shits, she's been doing well. She's skinnier than before, but ok. Disaster averted! I guess she just had some kind of bug.

I love that thing. She's my best friend. She's always around, if not on top of me, and if I work in the backyard, she lays on top of the chair so she can keep an eye on me. Likes bed even more than me, and sleeps on my shoulder til I dump her off, and then she curls up against me to go to sleep. I guess she has to die sometime, but (much)later's better than sooner :^)

A storm knocked a tree down on my fence line and one of my steers got out. I noticed him running up and down the neighbors driveway. I got to go catch, halter and lead him home. The good news? I made my steps goal for the first time in over a month!
