Give it till 10-11 when it gets dark, they'll be out.

Actually I have not seen a single one myself, it's been too cold. Warming up though. Saw a spider on my doorbell this morning, probably explains why nobody was using it and they were knowing instead. lol.

Well, dark 8:30 and 95 all day. Why rain on my parade? :colbert;

A piece of land I was kinda interested in sold a while back, but now it's for sale again for auction, starting at 5k. It was originally around 50k for the property so I imagine the realtor that bought it is not stupid and knows it will sell for more, but I figure it's worth a shot to try to see if I can get it cheaper. No idea how this auction works as there's no details but I emailed him to find the details. It just says public auction. I assume I need to physically be somewhere to physically bid, but not sure of those details.

I think I will bid a bit and see where it goes. Who knows, I could end up being the only person that shows up. The realtor is from down south though... I hope the auction is not actually down south, if yes then scratch that plan.

Only downside is the property is not in an unorganized township, so you need a permit to build anything bigger than 100sqft. So really only good as a camping spot.

Seems property searching like this is a trade off though, like the one I found after that was in unorganized township, but not near any water. I should probably prioritize unorganized township over water front, but I know if I buy something not water front I'll regret it.

I guess the win is that I basically get a second chance at this property. I was on the fence about it because it was not unorganized township, but now if I can get it real cheap, why not give it a try.

I sold my beloved old subaru to my kid cousin for cheap.
He fully detailed the car, and used one of those kits to clear/clean the 13 years of "fog" from the headlights. It almost looks like a brand new car again. Kid did fantastic work.
Today he is graduating from High School.

Hummingbirds are back! I've had a feeder up for three weeks now. I put it up when the azaleas bloomed, cause that's when the birds came in the past. Seemed early, but whatever... Been dumping out the food and refilling it with no birds in sight. Finally got a bird :^)

40 acres that one too. So pretty nice size. Bummer it's not unorganized township though, If I can find out the auction process I'll bid a small amount for kicks but I'd be quite limited in what I can build there so I think I'm better off waiting.

The kid is a HS graduate, $24K/yr in scholarships and plans on getting out of college in 3 years. He'll still have to do a summer, I think. No drugs charges or arrests. Couldn't be more proud.

Seeing people getting kneecapped regularly tends to straighten a kid out.

Just heard a rumour we might get a Popeyes Chicken here. Never been to one but heard it's good.

It's just a rumour though.
Of the fast food fried chicken places, it's my favorite, but, only if you get the extra spicy and only if the cashier doesn't screw up and forget your biscuits because they don't train their people very well.

Got my mail today, and there were two sheets of paper below the mail. I thought "WTF is that?". Pick them up, smell them, and they're dryer sheets. I've had ants in my box for a month now. I thought they'd go away on their own, but they didn't. Mail lady put the dryer sheets in the box, and no ants! I'm impressed. I'll probably write her a thank you tonight :^)

Maybe somebody mailed you some ants? Why would they mail you ants? Who would mail you ants?

Ants are minor nuisance. If I were gonna go through the effort, I'd mail something like scorpions or hornets :^D
If they are not worth the effort, then why did somebody go through the effort to mail you the ants? I think you are holding back on us here!

Mailing someone an envelope full of baby spiders would be fun. Imagine pulling out the letter and millions of tiny spiders come crawling out.

Tried Serine for the first time as it arrived yesterday.
https://www.amazon.com/L-Serine-Capsules-Cognitive-Production-Supplements/dp/B07RDYCG4H/
Supposed to boost levels of L-Tryptophan, Serotonin, and L-Cystein. Sure felt like it. Very restorative and nutrifying to my fried nerves/brain. Lack of sleep does terrible things, and this Serine is what I've been dying for, for years. Feels like a life-changer so far. Just combine it with tryptophan, multivitamin, and some food/glucose and you'll be right in no time. It didn't do a whole lot at first when I took in on an empty stomach. Try it before any antidepressant, IMO.
It's under clinical trial for Alzheimer's at the moment.
