MDLive via the insurance. Upper respiratory came back, logged in, Dr calls, he sends a script to CVS. Also today, the kid has pink eye. Send in a pic, Dr calls the kid and then a script. No Dr visit or charge.

Interesting now that piece of land I was talking about is no longer saying it's an auction, but it's priced at $34,500. Cheaper than what it was originally going for months ago when I first found it.

I almost feel it's meant to be at this point, but I don't like that it's not an unorganized township. I might still go for a drive to check it out but I'm probably best to wait till something unorganized comes up. I hate the idea of needing a permit for anything. It makes everything too expensive and too much red tape.

Beats a kick in the nuts....$192 overpayment check on the 2016 CT that the hospital charged me $3K+ for.
And a $46 from a different hospital (likely their prompt care). WTH? I would NEVER overpay a medical bill. Is there some crackdown on medical facilities accounting?

Maybe the insurance company renegotiated the contract price and the provider was catching up.

I dreamed a lot last night (well, technically this morning) and it was awesome. I love dreams cause mine are pleasant and weird and I almost never have bad ones. But I NEVER dream, at least I don't remember them if I am. But last night I did and it was sweet. Now I'll go another month before I have another dream (or one I remember). FUUUUUU

I love stupid people. These guys are better than the guy who stole the company UTV.

Somebody dumped construction debris on a lot owned by the company I work for. We were pretty sure a local waste removal outfit (two brothers) did it but knowing and proving are two different things. Then we found a flyer for the outfit with a picture showing the brothers unloading a truck… on our land. Our lawyers sent the gentlemen a nice letter as soon as they could keep their shit together long enough to write it.
Our certified letters kept coming back unclaimed (no surprise). Turns out one brother is in jail for an unrelated matter. We're thinking about sending a letter to him care of the county jail, give him something to look forward to when he gets out in a couple months.

Mailing someone an envelope full of baby spiders would be fun. Imagine pulling out the letter and millions of tiny spiders come crawling out.
Sheit if I opened the envelope in my apartment I'd have to burn the building down, my apartment and the other six. Just to be sure.

Also I dreamed last night again. And at least once in the past few days besides that. Wtf. Maybe I'm just remembering them more, when I wake up, but that doesn't make much sense (why now). Whatevs, dreams are cool and I'm happy with it. lol. Now if I could get more sleep...

Got a forwarded call today from an irate property owner who claimed a client's project was going to destroy the caller's land (maybe), cause global mayhem, and his kids were going to be born naked and it was all my fault. I asked where the property was located aaaand… it wasn't my project. YESSSS! I forwarded the caller to the appropriate poor bastard. The SEP field protected me today.

You should have said, "Hell, yes, you useless wise and beautiful woman stain. Benji isn't your get anyway." and hung up.

Well, that's not nice but what do you really expect from a loan shark?

Charge off from 2012 wants to do something with her land. The land that I have a lien on. Too long of a story to get into but I'm getting a check for $325 to walk a lien release over to the court house, ~75 yards away.

What is with Eye Glasses?
Why do peoples eyes degrade?
Have we figured out yet how to prevent it?

I fear I may need to purchase glasses at some point.
Last time I did my Seeing Eye test at the DMV, one of my eyes failed. Other one of course (the left one) still scored perfectly fine.

If I have 1 good eye and 1 bad eye, wouldn't a monocle make more sense than eye glasses? I assume It would cost half as much?

I do find it odd that our eyes degrade so much. Wonder if that was an issue in earlier humans. That and teeth, why are our teeth so fragile? Don't brush and floss regularly? Your teeth rot and fall out. Animals in the wild don't have that problem.

Maybe there will eventually be an update to fix all of this.

I got LASIK so I'm glad I don't need glasses anymore, but was told once I hit 40 I'll need some for up close. I guess the LASIK was worth it either way though so it basically bought me 10 years of no glasses and even when I do hit 40 I'll only need them for close and not necessarily have to put them on all the time.

The part I hated about glasses is that the lenses are coming smaller and smaller. It's one of the things that drove me to get LASIK I was tired of always having tunnel vision. I hate that fashion takes precedence over functionality.

Wearing them for the last 32 years, since I was 23. $750 for the exam+glasses. My last were $300 from costco and sucked even after 2 trips back. Just waiting on cataracts and medicare.

Animals with bad teeth just die.

Natural selection, and good enough is good enough. Just about any teeth will suffice til you're 40, and that's all that's required to reproduce. Everything after 40 is bonus time. Bad eyes help keep the population in check. I should have been eaten by a predator decades ago. Now, science has subverted nature, and allowed defectives to roam the earth and reproduce, bringing down the world average for intelligence and fitness. Wall-E world here we come!

Dr sent me to the cardiologist because my heart rate is pretty low and my heart is slightly enlarged. 25 years of cardio will do that but....just in case. She ordered an echo to check the aorta (mild uncoiling) but, otherwise, don't come back.

Damn, I'm having a good week.

The wife most likely has a cyst on her adrenal gland, not small cell carcinoma. woot.

She has been the recipient of neurological sarcoidosis for the last 2 years..quite the fun. Mimics a lot of things so it's hard to diagnose.....No lesions on her spine/brain, atm, so a longer life of crap vs shorter.

Neurosarcoidosis is a form of sarcoidosis. It is a long-term (chronic) disease of the central nervous system, which encompasses the brain, spinal cord and optic nerve, and is characterized by inflammation within one or more of those area

Regardless of the poor performance of the HC system...lost records/failure to refer/6 blind guys describing an elephant.... we "may" have found a couple of Dr's that are in the right direction.
