I've enjoyed all his movies. 6th Sense the most for sure, haven't seen Lady in the Water, but hear from friends that it was a big "WTF". The Happening looks really interesting in the commercials. I'll be seeing it, hopefully it's decent.

Bah, I guess all of his plots in the first few minutes of his movies. No shock or twist for me. I did enjoy unbreakable tho, even tho I guessed the whole plot-outcome tho. Sam Jackson just rules in everything he is in, except for the atrocities known as star wars episode 1-3.

I can't imagine you'd guess this one

The first half of Signs was excellent, very suspenseful. It turned to utter garbage when the aliens showed up and then turned into nothing but a bad joke when the big scary aliens could be defeated by a 4 year old with a super soaker.

Well, the new trailers for "The Crappining" are hyping the fact that it's rated R. That alone says POS movie. Gonna see Zohan and the Hulk this weekend.

The aliens in Signs were fing retarded. They are capable of intergalactic travel yet they are to retarded to figure our the planet they are visiting it covered in 75% of a substance that kills them.

There was no story to begin with, so there wasn't really an ending. The whole movie is horseshyte. None of the characters you care about, main characters didn't die and they lived happily ever after. Shytiest dialogues, no build up, nothing. I get better story line in a soap opera.

Let's just say that Mother Earth isn't powerless to stop us krazy-arse humans from defiling her (story) but we win anyway (ending)!

Ugh I can't believe I got roped into seeing this crap. Never again will I go see one of his movies in-theater, and I will ALWAYS wait for reviews before renting.

That movie pissed me off. Aliens that decide to invade a planet where they have to enter the atmosphere that's made of the stuff they hate and they travel millions of light years and have no idea how to use a doorknob.

Don't like his movies and I'm sure he's going to ruin Avatar.

I just saw The Happening, I didn't like it much at all. I liked most of M Night's previous movies, Sixth Sense and The Village were my favorites, and Unbreakable I thought was good too, though I didn't like Signs or Lady in the Water much. The Happening just has too many obvious problems. What could have been a really scary movie was paced totally wrong. The lack of information, instead of making the movie mysterious or scary just made me not really care.

The rest might be considered a minor spoiler, so stop reading if you care.

*SPOILER WARNING*

It was like the disaster was totally random about where and who it killed. So it was hard to really care about the characters who were dying, it was just like "oh well" bad luck for them. Then there was the whole arbitrary relationship issue, which made Zooey Deschanel's character seem like a stupid emo bitch and as a result I had no sympathy for Mark Wahlberg's character since he was stupid enough to stay with her, I just didn't care about the main characters at all. It was a rather pointless to the movie IMO, the movie could have been so much better if the stupid artificial relationship problems were removed and instead more details of the mystery were revealed and some sort of consistency or rules about who was effected was revealed. I thought the movie would be something like I Am Legend. Well, it was like I Am Legend except instead of being a virus that turned people into zombies, it was a mysterious force that affected people apparently totally at random, and instead of turning them into zombies that ate humans it turned them into zombies that committed suicide as quickly as possible. I was really really hoping that there would be some twist where certain people are immune to the effects, which it even looked like in some of the scene where one person is seemingly unaffected while everyone else is frozen while the thing is effecting them, but that detail was completely ignored through the rest of the movie.

The Happening was a total POS.
The best part was the opening scene and then it went into the crapper.

It was an alright movie. Not really scary, suspenseful, or really anything intense. Just a little thought provoking is all. M Night kinda has a subtle touch in all his movies, the 6th Sense and Signs seem to be the only exceptions. In many ways this reminded me of some French movies I have seen. More an exploration of a "What if?" than an Entertainment. It's the Idea, not the Movie that makes it watchable.

If you want Thrills, Chills, or Spills. Don't see this movie.

The only character I felt anything for was Leguizamo. (sp?)

Movie was weak, as always director is trying to make some statement with it and charge us $10 to find out what his opinion on things is.

Somebody needs to find a way to nominate Mark Wahlberg's "Oh no!" line as the single worst read piece of dialogue ever. He was beyond awful in that movie.

Yeah Mark really didn't fit well at all in this role.

I think it was a great idea....just wasn't executed properly.

I absolutely loved The Sixth Sense. Signs had it' moments. Without Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix in Signs, that movie probably would have tanked harder than The Village.

This has got to be the shitiest movie I have ever seen. The plot was retarded and the acting was crap. No suspense R rated my ass. most of the gore looked like it was added in later to get an R rating. I did laugh my ass off during the whole thing because it was so fing stupid. I can't believe I sat through the whole fricking movie. If it wasn't my grandpa who I took to the movies who wanted to see it I would have gotten my money back.

It wasn't the best movie ever, but I was entertained enough that I don't feel ripped off.
