Anandtech does some of the best and most informative reviews out there. With that being said there is on thing that seems to be missing for nearly EVERY review site on the internet. That is overclocking performance comparison.
Here's what I mean. Most reviews will show a comparison between a new processor or gpu verses other processor/gpus and they will even show the overclocked performance of the product being reviewed. What is NOT included is the overclocked performance verses the overclocked performance of the counter parts.
When looking at reviews to decide which new processor / video card might be a good one to purchase I would love to look at something like this...
ex. Numbers are totally made up
E8400 (max OC 4.00ghz air) 54fps crysis 16480 3D mark 06
E8500 (max OC 4.25ghz air) 57fps crysis 16780 3D mark 06
Q6600 (max OC 3.8ghz air) 51fps crysis 17380 3D mark 06
Q9450 (max OC 4.0ghz air) 56fps crysis 18200 3D mark 06
ex.2 Same thing but with gpu specs
9800gtx (max 810/1950/2200 air) 54fps crysis 16890 3D mark 06
9800gx2 (max 790/1870/2150 air) 64fps crysis 16380 3D mark 06
etc etc
Obviously this would be subjective to the testbed used but it would give a good "general" idea of the performance of the new product's OC performance VS the OC performance of other products.
I'm sure many many many people who read the reviews do not overclock but I would venture to guess (and I may be wrong) that even more people who read these reviews have plans to overclock their system to get the best performance possible. So I really think this type of indepth analysis (while time consuming) would provide more benefit to your readers.
