I?m assuming the shipping will be discounted from above as they?ll bundle because I?m pretty much only ordering from newegg and clubit, but maybe they just add the individual amounts? Worst case shipping: $50.50

Worst case total $1375.50+$50.50=$1426? $1536 before I get my rebates... a pretty penny

Talk amongst yourselves, I?ll give you a topic:

I'd like to get my total to $1300 after shipping, tax, and rebates, that's only $130 from where it is now. I wouldn't mind compromising on RAM, HD, Power Supply..

Am I missing anything? Anywhere I find one of my items cheaper? Anywhere I can get a better quality item for the same price or close?

I?m considering going to the 320MB for the 8800GTS to save $80, but I don?t know since I?ll be using the 46? occasionally.

I could save $30 by going to WD5000AAKS HD?s, are they as good, better?
Clubit

EDIT:
LOL... forgot case... oh well, any suggestions on a cheap, useable, case with free shipping? Or should I just go to Fry's?

Looks like the WD is just as good, although I prefer the samsung for its lower noise/heat output. Just bought one myself so yeah. You could drop the 620hx, and buy a 520hx instead. What resolution does that screen of yours run on, can it do 1:1 pixel mapping and what games do you play? I guess it's a fairly high resolution, 1920*1200 or so, and then the 640mb would be advised. Not sure how much of a gamer you are though. Could also some some cash by not buying the ip35-pro, but a vanilla ip35 instead which I think costs 70$ AR at newegg.

Samsungs are quieter than the WDs.

What resolution is your HDTV? if its 1920x1080, you'll need a GTX. Though, since its only occasional gaming, I'd stick with the GTS. If you wan high detail, stick with the 640MB. The new DX10 cards are coming out soon. You may want to go cheap on the vidcard now, and step up to a G92 based card when they're out.

How does EVGA's step-up program work... how long do I have after I buy my card? How much of a discount do I get? I think I'll go with the 640 for now.

If I later step up to a G92, will I be able to use the 520hx, or should I stick with the 620hx for upgrade-ability?

How noticeable is the sound and heat difference between the Samsung and WD?

The native resolution of the tv is 1080p, so I guess 1920x1080, but mainly I'll be running like 1600x1200 on my regular monitor.

Are there usually more rebates than this? I saw that clubit just had a $40 rebate for the 620hx, can't believe I missed that.

Anyone ever heard of a retailer cutting them a deal for buying all the items with them? Think I can haggle with Newegg? heh

Thanks for all your responses guys!

Last I checked, Newegg does not "bundle" shipping. Everything ships separately, and you pay freight on everything. But that was a year and a half ago, so somebody correct me?

Eh, shipping seems pretty cheap to begin with, only $50 of the total. Do you guys normally buy your case online as well, or get a cheapie from a local vendor because of shipping charges?

Some shipping is bundled. It depends on a number of cases including which location its shipping from.

I just sent my shopping list with prices over to a bunch of computer shops here in San Diego. I figure since the total is close to $3k, they might cut me a break and sell me a package deal or something. I sent it to all of them at once so they can see who else I sent it to, and my hope is that they have such strong rivalries which will force them to compete on my computer to the point where they lose money!!! MUHAHAHA... err... got a little too excited
