I was replying specifically to the poster who said Richland might be the recommended choice for 1080p. Personally, I am running a HD7770 at 1080p, and that is barely adequate in some current demanding games. I seriously doubt any igp in the next couple of years is going to match that.

I'm a bit impressed at their current execution speed, they seem to be keeping a 12 month update cycle.
I agree that A10-6700 looks extremely tempting. I hope AMD learned their lesson with Trinity and sends these chips to reviewers instead of the 6800K, as this 65W 6700 will look very good against any i3 currently on the market.
You and I both would like to see AMD reach DDR4 first. Its not all that great being raped by high pricies for newly released dram.

Chadboga, currently we can only guess. As a baseline you could take this review http://www.anandtech.com/show/6332/amd-trinity-a10-5800k-a8-5600k-review-part-1 and add the relative performance upgrades from 13.1 drivers plus 5-10% from higher clocks plus faster ram.

According to a media report, AMD intends to unveil its Fusion A-series code-named Richland APUs (also known as Trinity 2.0) for desktops already next month, on March 19, 2013. The mobile versions of the new A-series chips in BGA packaging are projected to emerge sometime in May
The company also allegedly intends to unleash its highly-anticipated Fusion E-series and X-series “Kabini” chips for low-cost notebooks in in late-May – late-June timeframe

I too don't expect one will be able to buy a Kaveri APU from Newegg till 2014, maybe even as late as Q2 2014.
They seem pretty well on schedule with their current products (or so it seems). I didn't expect Richland at all when it was announced, but it is a pleasant surprise to see AMD being aggressive about Intel-like ticks & tocks.

They should release Kaveri on track, because some new program functions and game optimizations will won't run very well without the new HSA features. The developers will be pissed off, if they don't release the hardware for the softwares in time.
