I'll be honest, I found the episode lacking a little bit. Maybe it was all the hype leading up to it, but it didn't seem to be as good as the rest. I know a lot of it was plot defining (having the kids dealing with the divorce) so I'll let it slide. All the Mad Max characters were done really well though. I was watching an interview where they said no 2 of the background characters looked the same. That's a lot of dedication to characters 80% of the viewers don't even look at. Episode 1 from this season was really good, so I'm sure the rest of the season will pick up. Plus we get Pickle Rick in the next episode. Hopefully that will live up to the hype better than this one did for me.

I like Archer, Futurama, robot chicket, etc. to give you a sense of my taste. I think R&M is the best show I've ever seen. It's hard for me to even pick out individual strengths, I just think it's brilliant.

I'd watch the 2nd episode. If you still don't like it... whelp... different strokes and all.

Exactly. You don't have to like it. Everyone has differing tastes. It just makes me laugh on many levels. Great wit and funny as hell.

At first glance my reaction was something to the tune of 'Voice acting sounds lazy,' but I totally get it now. Funny as shit but also involves some impressive scifi writing and concepts. To me, this feels like the animated version of The Expanse - something I didn't catch when it first came out, but now that I've seen it I can't get enough.

Fun fact: The guy who voices Jerry is Chris Parnell from Archer. He does the voice of Cyril on that show.

'Rickmancing the Stone' was awesome. So many great and funny moments. I've seen one or two stinkers from past seasons but man this season so far has been epic.
