Perry, owning like a boss. Just like what he's going to do to Obama.

Buzz....wrong. Rick Perry demonstrated that he is a joke candidate and not level headed enough to engage in a political debate without attempting to physically intimidate his opponent when he is properly rebuked.

On the other hand Ron Paul's reaction demonstrated he is a man of good character, class, conviction and patience even when facing a brute.

it looks to me from that picture that he's holding his wrist very gently in a caring sort of way and pointing out that Dr Paul has something in his hair......

After reading your post I did a close up inspection of the photo to confirm your suspicions.

What appeared to me then was that Perry saw Ron Paul excavating a booger out of his right nostril and was in the act of picking the booger out of his right hand forefinger fingernail. Perry came up to Paul to scold him for doing such a thing in public and held down Paul's hand to prevent Paul from flicking the booger in Perry's face whilst pointing out to Paul that the remnants of the booger still in his nose was a flapper and Perry was going to remove it for him if Paul would just stand still for a moment.

Rand Paul was on TV last commenting about this. Apparently Perry and Paul are surprised how the media is running with this. Paul said it wasn't a heated exchange at all, that it was a friendly one.

Making a one-party debate into interesting news require a bit of creativity, I guess

The officer was very professional and she was just writing them a warning. It would've been funny if she pulled out a gun when the driver got out of the car, lol.

absolutely but he (perry) wouldnt have discovered it was just a mere warning until he challenged her on what shes doing, or when she would have approached the suv during normal procedure.

perry was more concerned with a couple of minutes of his time than a DPS officer telling his aide to slow the fuck down in the name of safety.

imo im also surprised why she didnt whip out her sig on the aide when he got out of the car.

The car type and plates combined with the way the driver was dressed told her that he wasn't a threat.

Paul didn't say if was friendly he said he couldn't remember. Slight difference but expected from Paul. Perry on the other hand goes into denial mode.

Are you trying to say a stranger puts their hand on you and waves their finger in your face it could possibly be friendly? Are you HIGH? Use your eyes. Paul looks surprised and Perry looks like he's lecturing in an agressive fashion.

BTW - watch the police stop video. The driver was cordial and apologized. Perry gets out of the car and barks "what's the hold up here?" When the officer said she was issuing a warning Perry barks "Why don't you just let us get on down the road"

I'll say it again this guy is a nut who has no respect for others in authority and uses bullying as a tactic.

Anyone know what Perry said to Paul yet?

It looks like he's telling Paul to watch out for those evil liberals. LOL

Look out boys, we've got another e-thug here!

False. I didn't threaten anyone, merely mentioned what I would in Paul's shoes in that situation, as that is how I deal with idiots who think they have the right to put their hands on me or my family. It'd be great if you could rely on the manners people are supposed to have, but unfortunately there are a lot of bullies and tough guys out there that need to have their lack of respect discussed in a physical manner. Perry seems like that kind of guy and is in need of a wake-up call.

Also, Paul is a doctor and I'm just used to seeing many doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists among the ranks of talented aikidoka. Kinda made me wish Paul could have handled that in a more assertive, "please don't fuck with me" manner. Sorry if my wishful thinking alarms you.

Paul did look a little intimidated by his body language though, maybe he he's just embarrassed and wants to forget about it?

Spot on about Perry though, he seems to have developed his imperial, DeLay-esque 'I am the federal government!' attitude in the mold of many politicians.

I think most doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists are amateur aikidoka. The best aikidoka are usually dentists and carpenters. aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka aikidoka

God help us all. Perry seems like a decent man but certainly not presidential material. Ron Paul was kinda kookey in this last debate. Gingrich, then Romney looked best in my opinion.

Gingrich looked like he was playing to be VP and nothing more in the last debate IMO.

I don't get Perry's lead in polls and appeal. Seemed clear to me of the bunch, based on that debate only, Romney was the best pick for the Repub pick.

Not like I've been following it closely though so maybe that wasn't a proper picture.

Such a scathing indictment of martial arts there Nebor, I was going to ask who pissed in your pomade but turns out I'm just so crestfallen now. *sigh*
