Onvia was carrying this for $230, but I waited.

I ended up getting mine at Buy.com fro $260, splitting a $30 coupon with another item on the same order. PriceGrabber has been keeping track of this for a while. $255 is probably the cheapest (pre-coupon) these days.

BTW, I am enjoying 12x burns VERY MUCH. I haven't given myself the chance to try DVD yet (have a home DVD player anyway, but that was another hot deal ).

SUOrangeman: Have you done any burns on 80min CDR's? If so what brands. My 9120A rejects my Imation 80min blanks. It seems OK with various 74min brands, though. The Ricoh tech support refused to recommend any brands but their own!

PS: I got my 9120A at www.essencom.com for $258 before xmas.

Yes, I am currently going through a 200-pack (see thread here somewhere) of Samsung Digitall 12x 80min CDRs. OK, so maybe I've only burned 5 or so thus far over three days, but they work fine in my drive ... and in my Pioneer 301-disc CD changer.

BTW, when I purchased this unit, I attempted to pricematch with Onvia @ $230. Of course, Onvia conveniently ran out of stock that day (mysteriously, after having the price set for a good three weeks). Thus, the pricematch failed. I was trying to use a $30 off coupon too, which is also a no-no. First-time pricematcher, what else do you expect?
