You're in a room with 2 doors. One leads to freedom and da other will lead to death. You have no idea which is which. Each door has a guard. One tells only lies while da other while tells only truth. U can ask 1 guard 1 question. What question do u ask and to which guard??????

The lying guard isn't so stupid as to take the door to death. So the truthful guide should point at the right door.
The lying guard however will point at the other door.

The answer above... "If I asked the other guard, what would he say is the door to freedom?"... is the answer.

Let's call the good door "G", and the bad door "B", for simplicity. You ask the liar the question, and he says that the other guard would say B is the good door (because the other guard would REALLY say G, but the guard you asked is lying). You ask the truthful guard the question, and he says the other guard would say B (because the other guard would lie to you). So then just pick the opposite door of whatever they say.

Answer is to phrase the question" If I were to ask you if this road leads to town, what would your answer be?"
