Sadly, that won't work. Pill cutters don't cut evenly in half. You end up getting more like 40% and 60% pieces. Thus you aren't taking 1 each day. You will die.

Even if they aren't, you can't get EXACTLY half of a powder like this, or EXACTLY half of a solid pill.

how about grind all the pills to a fine homogeneous powder, weigh out the amount of two pills and take them each day.

Why the hell would the pills be exactly identical save for chemical structure? What about the dosage and manufacturer stamp? Usually there's also an identifier stating the medicine name on the pill, or a unique appearance to the pill.

qft. no pill is made to look exactly alike and be totally different. if they look alike = they are the same. stupid riddle, imo.

Just before midnight you remove one A pill from its bottle and add it to the pile; then you swallow two of the pills in the pile. Just after midnight you swallow the remaining two pills.

wouldnt work. you would still lose about a pill in translation. that pill could mean life and death (assuming the pills were like heart pills or blood thinners). too wasteful.
