thats why its garaged. so you don't get the two tones. and two tones is better than rusted out notches becuase you end up behind a dump truck every day on the way to workOriginally posted by: NFS4
What's wrong with car bras? Aren't they there for protection?
Protect your car's paint by making it look ugly as sin? Not to mention that when you do take it off, your paint will be two different shades with a visible line seperating the covered/uncovered part of the hood/bumper.
I drive with one on in the Winter for one reason, we don't use Salt ont he roads like you easterners do, we use gravel, I like my hood to be painted thankyou. In the summer it comes off.Originally posted by: AmigaMan
These actually work. My dad's pickup has one and it keeps the bugs off the front of the hood.3) Bug deflectors on pickups/sport utes. BLEH!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest of those I agree with though.

Yesterday i was behind an integra that was lowered way down. Everytime he came to a bump(quite often in michigan) he hit his brakes. He was doing 35 in a 45. Him and i both ende dup turning onto the same street, so i took the time to pass him. He tried to keep up with my cherokee, but failed miserably.

Aren't those the same guys that have to go over speed bumps at an angle?

My car has 110,000 miles on it (mostly highway miles). I have two small nicks on the leading edge of my hood, neither of which is down to the metal. You can't even tell unless you have your eye a foot away from the hood otherwise you'd never no the difference.
Besides, those things are ugly as hell. Nothing pains me more than to see a nice looking car with a dumb-looking bra covering up it's front end.
Ohh, and #6:
States that make you use a front license plate. That just KILLS the front end of certain cars (Porsches, Corvettes especially). Glad I live in NC

Despite your warning, people are still trying to get you started on bras... Something we should know?Originally posted by: NFS4
IMHO of course
1) Bras. Don't get me started on these
2) 20" chrome wheels on Geo Prisms and Dodge Stratus (or any other car of that ilk).
3) Bug deflectors on pickups/sport utes. BLEH!!!!!!!!!!!
4) Rice stickers. Grow up biatch!!!!
5) 5 ft tall spoilers on the back of FWD burners. The only cars that have earned the right to have a big ass spoiler on the back are the Road Runner, F40/F60, and the late Supra
Feel free to add to the list
regarding #5, you left
1970 Plymouth Superbird off your list.

Spoilers look pretty mean on the Challengers too, most Mopars for that matter. Still, on any non RWD it's pretty gay IMHO.
