haha... was driving to the lake on saturday. I change lanes to get around a van, and what do I see? A white Saturn SL1. I burst into laughter. Literally. This was the ultimate rice mobile. It had the small wheels that stuck out (not real far, but to far). It had some fancy silver rims, that looked extremely stupid. Then it had a huge black spoiler on the back. We are talking one of the ones that looks like a few pieces of sheet metal welded together. Then to top it off, they had some goofy stickers on the doors to look somewhat like flames or something. I continued to laugh as I passed him.

Oh... I almost forgot. It had one of those "pissed off bumble bee" exhausts as well. You know the ones... they have a 4" diameter exhaust, and sound... well like a pissed off bumble bee.

These actually work. My dad's pickup has one and it keeps the bugs off the front of the hood.

The rest of those I agree with though.

I drive with one on in the Winter for one reason, we don't use Salt ont he roads like you easterners do, we use gravel, I like my hood to be painted thankyou. In the summer it comes off.

The people who don't use a Hood Shield out here are fools

in Michigan, you wear the bra in the summer and take it off in the winter (on the car)
