Check the pic of my new rig. I had a problem with the burning chipset, I finally found a way to cool it. It also helps cool the video card memory.

I went to 600/1800 straight with no effort whatsoever. 550->600 should be VERY easy for anyone. I'd say it's nearly free. I'm gonna try 620~630 later today.

They are awesome cards, mine ramped up to 635/1800 with no trouble, stable, cool, fast and quiet....what more could you want (apart from a second one!) They are bl**dy heavy though........

That seems like a dissapointing increase in 2005, but I havent kept that up to date with how it scales with SLI.

Probably would score higher if he had the newer Asus A8N32 motherboard which has full speed 16X SLI ,The A8N Premium runs 8x PCIE speed when running two cards and 16X with a single card.

i'd say try to go that little more and get 15k in SLI config

it would also be awesome to see some benches in F.E.A.R. and maybe a screenshot of fear at like 1600x1200 with as much of the eye candy turned on as possible while still playable (lets say, 30+ fps?) because i've seen enough benches where framerate's displayed... but i'd really like to see what the game looks like playing it like in the benchmarks.

and maybe, if its not too much trouble... try benching quake 3 im wondering if its possible to get 1000+ FPS on it yeah i know every monitor would explode trying to display that, but im just wondering if its possible. i know that more then likely you'd get 10000+ fps on something like pong, but it just has something to try and get 1000 frames per second on something that was Thé standard for high graphic games only 6 years back

Everybody has a hobby. Anyway, yes it wasn't an easy decision for me to make, but I was like what the hell, that $1400 could be spent on anything. I'll just give it a shot and be done with it. I'm not the type upgrading often, so I'm expecting my rig to serve me for at least 2 years. I'm both. I send 1~1 1/2 hours a day gaming. I tried to check out most of hyped-to-death new games, and currently I'm hooked on Age of Empires 3. This game is absolutely gorgeous and fun, making my investment on video cards worthwhile. SplinterCell: Chaos Theory was another game I greately enjoyed.
