I am not discussing "any word". I am discussing the N-word.

I am not discussing the acceptability of a word in "one situation". I am discussing how the N-word is apparently not acceptable for white people (except in limit circumstances), but, somehow acceptable for blacks to use (in most circumstances they see fit).

Apparently, the N-word has such special characteristics, that it transcends all other words. A comparison to swear words is not sufficient. That being said, swear words are not appropriate and should not be used. The anti-swear word lobby just is not as strong as the anti-N-word lobby.

Also, Jesse and Al have organized boycotts in the past. Even a 1% drop in revenue for the NFL is nothing to sneeze at.
