Google paid $12 billion for Motorola. Thought RIM was worth $15 billion, or was it $25 billion? Bah, if Google bought Motorola, Microsoft paid Nokia "hush money" (felt like using it), and Apple is all set, who the hell is left to buy RIM?

No way they abandon WebOS this quickly - the Pre3 is really their best chance to jumpstart the brand.

Only folks I can think of that might buy RIM would be a private equity company or a Chinese company.

Microsoft and Apple won't be interested, to that narrows down the field quite a bit.

Aha, RIM currently has a market cap of $12.7 billion Canadian or $12.9 Americano.

Tack on a premium and it should be less than $20 billion. Cisco maybe? But Cisco just started getting rid (done yet?) of their consumer product line.
