Have you noticed that the voices in your head are quieter than normal??
Seriously, you DO know that most people lose hearing in their left ear first, right? Why?? Driving with your window down is the primary cause. Wind blowing in your ear, traffic noises, etc, all contribute to the accelerated hearing loss in the left ear, at least in the USA. I imagine it's the opposite in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I have permanent hearing loss in my left ear, but that's due to an unfortunate incident involving a handgun and a tin roof at a shooting gallery. My own fault, no one else to blame. You want to hear ringing, I've got the freakin' cathedral bell tower in my left ear!! It's really funny, too, when they do my annual hearing test, then schedule me to see the audiologist, because that ear is so bad off! Like it's going to improve, or something......
