great price for this player!

it's a good price, but it's lacks recording features, FM radio, etc... plus one of the rebates is from RIO which historically has a bad track record with fullfilling rebates

Rio's Rebate Status Page is extremely unfriendly and negative. It's a big turn off for me in terms of having faith in getting a rebate from them. I have only had a few rebates lost in my long lifetime as a deal whore and Rio was definately one of them.

Still trying to decide if I want to risk this, because it is an incredibly hot deal if both rebates come.

I'm still waiting for my $50 Diamond Monster 3d II (voodoo 2) rebate from Diamond, which was then Sonic Blue, which is now some other company..

But Diamond's the original company that made the Rio.

good deal, but for those that asked i think that the muva^2 is a better player, but then again my main gripe about the nitrus is that it's damn ugly.

Eh, true the nitrus is not exactly easy on the eyes but I'm gonna have it in my pocket 80% of the time and I think it is more of a sturdy player. Heck, 1.5gb miniscule player for $130...you gotta love the holidays!

Id be all over this except that I just payed 150 for a 256mb rio cali like a week ago (D'oh)

And I keep telling myself that Im gonna use the armband for the cali when I run and listen to my tunes, so a HD player would skip and such, but this is really hot if you arent gonna be really physical with it
