If I can't does anyone know of a Rio or other PC based MP3 player that can play itunes ACC files that you buy from thier store?

I just got mine today, and it came with an Itunes CD and 50 free songs from emusic.com

But all the documentation only mentions WMA/MP3 files. Of course, it would be kinda stupid to include an iTunes installation CD and not support ACC.

If you're running iTunes on a PC, it will not recognize the Rio as a valid device.

The player only understands MP3 and WMA files.

Sam's Club is selling the S35S (128 MB internal) with an additional 32 MB card for $98. I bought one of these a few weeks ago and it's really a nice little unit, although as many others have posted, the tuner completely rots.

And I may be in the minority here, but I actually *like* the Rio Music Manager software.

Hmm, that must be an in-store special (with the bonus 32mb card) because they only show the player itself w/o the extra card online @ www.samsclub.com.

edit: I just checked click n pull and it is available in store (in St. Louis) with the extra 32mb card)

I had to jump on this deal. The wife and I were looking for a decent mp3 player for use when working out, and $57 for an upgradeable workout-themed player fits the bill! Picked up two. My only gripe is the sub-par headphones. Can anyone recommend some decent-good earbud/over-the-ear style headphones for use with this player?

I bought these and they're decent. They stay in place when I work out. I didn't want any that had foam on the ear pieces because it only serves as a sweat sponge during a workout. They also allow some ambient noise through, which is good if you're using the player while running on the street. The cord seems to be longer than the ear buds that come with the player, which can be good and bad. It's bad if you wear the player on your arms because the extra cord can get in the way. Its easily remedied because you just shove the extra underneath the belt clip.

For $9, they serve their purpose.

This is still like $77 at my Wal-Mart, and they say they don't price match walmart.com

They do have several, though.
