I had the opportunity to meet Denis and have dinner with him a few years ago. He was great to meet and great company, and I wish I could have had the chance again this year when I go up to Ottawa again. I do remember even then (2010) he insisted on not shaking hands as he was chronically sick to some degree. I hope he is resting peacefully now.

I truly hate to hear that. RIP Dennilfloss, you really seemed to be a good guy. I might not post often, but I read here a lot, and there are only about a dozen usernames that stick in my head for one reason or another. Dennilfloss was on that list cause he was such a great guy.
