Interesting. I wonder if it is like this on the actual game, not from the demo itself.

Bought this last Thursday. Total fricken blast to play. Just finished the 1st campaign, the units are sweet and the heroes totally rock.

This game looks pretty nice, I am just wondering how much RAM it uses? It has no RAM reqs on the package. I am really hopeing my lower end system will be able to play it.

My guess (from looking at the graphics itself) would be no. I will assume the sys reqs would be similar to Battle for Middle-Earth or something related.

I will check tonight, I have a 6800 and 2 gigs of ram.. perhaps 1 gig of ram is suitable, but who knows. I'll tag this thread for later

I started playing this game yesterday. It's no Warcraft or Age of Empires, but it's fun nonetheless. It looks like something that would have low replay value, though.

I loved RoN, but it didn't have character. This game sets things right in that department.

There is some amazing depth in this game. I played the demo quite a lot and now have the full game. First off, turn on anti-aliasing. It looks like crap without it. Second, give it time. It's amazing how many different stages I went through when trying to get a good impression of the game. Firstly, it's intimidating. There are many things that work differently than you're used to and each race is different. Once you're familiar with the basics, the game seems rather simple and possibly dull. However, when you find out all the cool stuff you can do, you start putting the pieces together and strategies start flooding into your mind and things get exciting.

No one can say much about the long term replayability, but Big Huge Games is a great company and there's a lot to enjoy here.

Runs great on my system. [Athlon64 3000+ (2.2ghz), 6600 GT AGP (10% OC), 1GB RAM]
I should have tested it on this other machine with 512MB of RAM. [AthlonXP 1700+, 9500] I'll post the results if I get the chance this weekend... or, just a thought, I could remove 512MB from this machine to try it out for you. But really, you can just try the second demo.

I am downloading it right now, and it's taking forever. But if its as good as the screen shots make it look I will be buying it.

I picked it up last weekend. I didn't play RoN, but I'm a big fan of RTS games in general. I agree with PseudoKnight in that there is a great deal of depth to the game. I just finished the first campaign last night, and am really enjoying the game.

I just played this game last night. It is the most amazing game I have played in recent memory. The graphics are just as good if not better then AoE3 and I still never got below 40FPS on my oced Sempon with 512MB of RAM and a 9600pro at 1280x768.
