:wine: I was at Rite Aid and saw a Cabernet called 5 Oaks. It was only $3 a bottle so I thought what-the-hey and bought a bottle. With a lackluster grape education don't put much confidence in my evaluation but it has a nice mild vanilla nose and though not quite dry enough to be a perfect fit for my taste to it's credit it doesn't have that huge fruitiness that jumps in your face (which I Hate) that a lot of wines do and for a wine that's not the most dry it does have a very soft finish which I enjoy tremendously. I'd have to say it's a cabernet that acts like a Pino so it is a little thin but I like Pino's too. For $3 what do you have to lose- well besides the 3$. If your a wine snob put on your Groucho Marx nose and glasses and go incognito but it's a real bargin for a weekday beverage on a pleasant little table wine. If your brave enough to try 2 buck Chuck you'll be be pleasantly surprised.
