I watched about 30 minutes of CNN live stream of the trial, and I would say the following, Rittenhouse is going to get charged with something, but not sure about murder. The prosecutor right now is trying to use a tactic that I like to call add-on affect. Basically at multiple points the prosecutor is trying to kake Rittenhouse agree to whether he lied to police at any point in time, knowingly carried a gun that didn't belong to him, or just points at which his statement sounds dumb. Already Rittenhouse clearly confessed that he lied to the police that he is an EMT specialist, just to get access into the area. This within it self is a violation of the law.
As for the murder part, nothing had come up about it in regards to the time I stopped watching the live stream of the court case. Ironically enough however, Rittenhouse did admit he sarcastically lied to someone in a car driving, "Yes I pointed a gun at you." The defndent's lawyer tried to object saying that it is getting the case no where, the judge said that this sarcasm statement is something big, and asked the plaintiff to continue his questioning. When the plaintiff asked why did Rittenhouse respond sarcastically, Rittenhouse claimed he did it to prevent an escalation to an argument, and felt the best way to do so was to say yes to the driver.
Lastly but not the least, when Rittenhouse was trying to run back and find the leader of his group that night, while doing so, he was recorded on camera being seen that for 20 seconds the leader of his group was just there right in center in front, but just passed him. Rittenhouse said he didn't see him and continued on his efforts to find him.
