The rule of law wins.

If we were in the South in the 1940's and it was on video of white men lynching blacks and killing them but they got off as not guilty by the jury with the judge steering the trial in the defendants favor - you'd still say - RULE OF LAW WINS.

everybody here knows what a horrific person you are. Christ almighty you people really think you are decent human beings.

Another win for vigilantism, wooooooo.

I wish the judge and Kyle well on all their future fishing trips.
Nothing like veiled threats against the Judge and Kyle.

Hey bitch-boy show us where the veiled threat is...you are the only cuck who sees it thus far, show us what it is you are looking at that makes you see some sort of veiled threat here. Or is this just more projection and blatant lying from you on the orders of those you are a cuck to?

You resort to the worst vitriol far too often, and have been repeatedly reported for it by disinterested third parties. This infraction is a cumulative one. Please refrain from this rhetorical overeach, as you have been instructed to more than once before.

Rev Al Sharpton said it perfectly when he said that if Rittenhouse had been a black man going into a crowd with an assault weapon an then killing two white people, that the black man Rittenhouse would have been found guilty, and also would have never been allowed by any judge to pick out of a bowl those who would judge him.

I say, look...
Rittenhouse had an assault weapon and carried an assault weapon and still got off. Where as with that "other" trial of Ahmaud Arbery, and it is truly the trial of Ahmaud Arbery, Ahmaud Arbery was only presumably ""grabbing"" for the murderers assault weapon. Again, only ""GRABBING FOR"". And yet no doubt for Ahmaud Arbery the name of justice will not be served.
Rittenhouse the white guy can run around with an illegal assault weapon killing people while Ahmaud Arbery is guilty of daring to ""grab"" for the assault weapon which killed him.
Welcome people to Donald Trump's America.
And.... this will only get worse. Much worse.

While I 100% agree that Dems need to stop it with the gun banning BS, I do feel the need to say that a heavily armed society where persons are legally empowered to act in 'self-defense,' even in altercations that they instigated or could have readily avoided through better judgment, will not a peaceful society.

I think we're really at the point where we've already got a heavily armed society and increasingly the people on one side are advocating the use of weapons and hoping to find themselves in circumstances where they can. They'll start creating those circumstances on their own now if they do not already exist and largely do so under the cover of the law. Inevitably people on the other side of the equation will elect to level the playing field.

A probable result of what the Rittenhouse decision has done is that there will be more firearms being brought to bear on both sides at protests, whereby the protesters will arm themselves as a matter of self-defense and of course there will be agendas that speak to an armed response of Rittenhouse's acquittal.

The people that benefitted the most from this case are the Rittenhouse copycats that will surely exploit his acquittal as a sign that armed vigilantes "providing armed support to local law enforcement personnel" is acceptable, especially so in Kenosha.

Although I'm not fully aware of the circumstances, I can say with confidence that it sure seems to me the police there for all intent and purpose practically deputized Rittenhouse that night.

One thing to keep in mind is that so much of this case hung on state law and how Wisconsin defines murder/manslaughter, plus don’t forget the gun charge getting tossed because of poorly-worded statutes.

It’s quite possible that this same case with the same set of circumstances may have had a different outcome in a different state (even given the same judge.)

Of course, he was just wishing them luck on their next fishing trip. After all he's related his fondness for the Judge and Kyle all through this and other threads.
Interesting, I took it as him cracking a joke about them clearly being buddy buddy, hence them going on a fishing trip.

Of course you'd take it in a direction of violence though. I assume you expect them to be grenaded?

Well apparently he’s seeing a therapist right now. So here’s hoping he just stays out of the public eye.

Well if Matt Gaetz has any say in it, that ammosexual Meal Team 6 fame could be better applied to helping Gaetz try to stay out of prison. Screw nursing school Kyle, Matt's got a destroyed public image to rebuild, needs some of that Free as Fuck Proud Boys support.

You'll only confuse the idiot by trying to explain it to him.

Sad part out of all this tragedy is that it seems to me the more the victim's families, friends and sympathizers grieve and speak out about the injustice they perceive from the gunman's acquittal, the more satisfaction and glee Rittenhouse's supporters are going to get out of it.

The treatment Rittenhouse got from that particular judge and jury would, it seems, probably be the same favorable treatment any of the LEO's would have gotten if they had shot and killed those very same protesters.

Actually, I disagree with Sharpton. If Rittenhouse were black and killed two white people, he would not have been found guilty because he would have never made it to trial. The police would have put him down.

Wonder how far you can push this thing… Break into your house, wait for you to get home, you enter your home and slams the door, I think I hear a gunshot and puts you down with gun.

Self defense?

Honestly, nobody made any smart decisions that night. Nobody sane goes to these demonstrations anyway, at least certainly not when things have turned violent. The only people sticking around are looking for trouble anyway, and you risk putting yourself at the mercy of whatever law(s) you may or may not be aware of.

For those saying this "sets a precedent to shoot protestors," just stay away. Nothing to be gained from these gatherings that don't advance an agenda anyway, except provide fodder to conservative media in the form of "riots." Stop proving them right, take away that talking point from them.
