Yeah, I say if anyone disagrees with the 6800 being the best bang for the buck in a WIDE price range they should look at Anandtech's review, that shows it as basically the best bang for the buck next to the 9700pro, and considering the option to Softmod, it is a very pretty deal IMO.

What temps should i be looking at stock, oc and unlocked pipes. Whats acceptable and to much. I got a EVGA Card. Also is this process reversible????? Doesnt when you revert back it doesnt know which pipes are which and might close good ones

Check out Guru3d's RivaTuner forum and search for can't overclock. Its like a bug in RivaTuner. In one of the threads Unwinder (RivaTuner's developer) states to set your overclock first and then apply the softmod. But watch temps very carefully.
