that's a fair enough assessment... but there were a lot more partisan jabs in Palin's speech put in there to rile up the crowd.

I thought Cindy McCain's presentation was classy, understated, and could have appealed to a broad range of voters (if the previous circus like roll out of Palin hadn't turned him into a laughing stock).

Now, however, those jingoistic chants of "USA" may just serve to remind many viewers of how the Bush Administration misled us into war precisely when he is trying to create distance between himself and Bush.
